The United Nations Habitat Programme Support Office Nigeria (UN-HAPSO) was established by the Federal Government of Nigeria, in cooperation with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) and became operational in October 2003.
The Office has been established to promote cooperation with Nigeria towards achieving the goals of the Habitat Agenda of ‘Sustainable Urbanization’ and ‘Adequate Shelter for All.’ It also assists Nigeria to work towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
The Office, which is part of the Regional Office for Africa (ROAf) of the UN-HABITAT falls under the direct supervision of the Senior Human Settlements Adviser (SHSA) of ROAf and is headed by the Habitat Programme Manager (IIPM).
Vacancies for the following positions in the Office are about to be filled.
